Vastari in the News
Born from the desire to help the cultural industry to be more connected and efficient, our journey started in 2012 with the development of an online platform to facilitate loans between private collectors and public museums. In 2014 we launched our travelling exhibitions marketplace, and in 2018 we released industry pioneering reports about the market for exhibitions.
We respect all client's privacy, do not hold any confidential information about our clients and will not publicise any information to others on the network unless specified by you.
In support of the public exhibition sector, we offer memberships for public institutions with permanent collections, such as museums, for free and we do not take commissions. As a result, we operate in accordance with the International Council of Museums Code of Ethics.
Private collections hold 100M objects of cultural value and artists are adding to this number every day. Institutional curators and commercial producers organise more than 500,000 exhibitions a year. Over 1M venues worldwide - be it museums, commercial properties or project spaces - seek exhibition content on an ongoing basis. Vastari seeks to make collaboration on exhibition effortless and connect the exhibition ecosystem globally. Vastari's online platform and bespoke services enable research, sourcing and collaboration for exhibitions, supporting projects like small and large scale object loans as well as international exhibition loans and tours. Operating at the intersection of culture and technology, our team combines skills from across industries to tackle the large exhibition ecosystem using data and state of the art technology.
Vastari already operates the world's largest online platform facilitating the exchange of cultural exhibition content globally. Vastari is constantly working on building new technology tools to facilitate every step of the exhibition making process.
